Rest Before the Manna

Before Israel was given the Sabbath command at Sinai, they were taught it in the wilderness through bread. A double portion fell on the sixth day so that none needed to gather on the seventh (Exodus 16). Rest was provisioned before it was commanded.

Provision precedes obedience. The same pattern runs to Yeshua, the bread that came down from heaven.
